WENGER COMPARES NEW SIGNING TO ASHLEY COLE

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is comparing his new signing Cohen Bramall to Premier League legend Ashley Cole.

The player arrived at the Emirates £40,000 from a non-league outfit Hednesford Town. The club signed the player on a two year deal and he is expected to be confirmed soon as he has been impressive in his trials.

The youngster would not be able to join the senior team just yet but Wenger believes he is a player for the future. In an interview with beINSPORTS, Wenger said:
“Cohen Brammal has signed for us. He’s an exceptional physical talent, I don’t think he’s ready, today, to play in Premier League but he has similarities to a young Ashley Cole.”

The player’s agent Dan Chapman, who was happy for the young player, said:
“It sound crass to say this is a dream come true for Cohen but it clearly is. We love playing a part in helping the young man, who was working full time in the Bentley factory until made redundant recently, whilst playing for Hednesford as well, become a professional footballer and now we have – if he grabs the opportunity – a fabulous career ahead of him.”

Chapman added that Bramall has been training with the Arsenal first team even as his move is still being considered. He added that it would take a while for the player to adapt being that he moved from part time to pro football.

“The jump in levels is so high. Realistically we can expect Cohen to cut his teeth in under 23 football but we are confident he will break through at senior level in good time” Chapman added.

Arsenal is not expected to make any other addition before the January window closes next week as the team seems stable to a large extent.
